<h3>About the Role</h3>
<p>We are seeking 2 highly organized and proactive Training &amp; Development Specialists to support, design, and deliver learning initiatives across Guyana and Suriname. This role is essential to building workforce capabilities, supporting employee growth, and ensuring alignment with regional development strategies. The ideal candidates are passionate about learning, detail‑oriented, and comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

<li>Coordinate, plan, and deliver training programs (technical, compliance, and soft skills) for employees across Guyana.</li>

<li>2–4 years of experience in Training, Learning &amp; Development, HR, or similar roles.</li>
<li>Strong facilitation and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication in English (written and verbal).</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.</li>

<p>Under strict supervision, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for properly packing, marking, labeling, and obtaining weight and dimension information for cargo. The role coordinates pre-shipping instructions and maintains shipment logs, files, and supporting documentation. The incumbent manages the domestic and international movement of goods in compliance with applicable regulations and prepares the required documentation for shipments. <h3>Reporting &amp; Communication</h3>

<li>Prepare and submit maintenance reports to management</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and other departments</li>
<li>Participate in planning and operational meetings</li>

<h2>Qualifications/Skills And Experience</h2>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or related field</li>
<li>Supervisory or leadership training is an asset.</li>
<li>Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in maintenance operations.</li>
<li>At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, Industrial or facility maintenance practices.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Water treatment and sewage systems (preferred).</li>
<li>Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.</li>
<li>Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on maintenance experience in industrial or commercial environments</li>
<li>Experience supervising teams and coordinating maintenance work</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs</li>
<li>Experience working under pressure and handling emergency repairs</li>
</ul>

<li>Position based at the OKO Project site.</li>
<li>Work Schedule – 14 days on/7 days Off</li>
<li>Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</li>
